expanitory writing assighnment

1. explortatory writing is when you can write about a certain topic and you can look at diffrent problems with that one topic instead of looking at just one.exploratory papers do not have a argument about them like most paper set out to say .

2. in Wallace essay he is using exploratory writing to talk how the lobsters are being treated wrong and how they are cooked in the most cruel manor as possible. by making them suffer and through their death .Wallace dose not  just speak about how that way is wrong to cook lobsters but their meaning and how they are worshiped and the importance of the lobster.

walkers essay explores how it is to be a black woman in the south and during a hard time such as civil rights which she compares to the garden which they are living for the children to pass down ., what i observed from this article is that she doesn't make an argumentative point to argue about how she is treated but how the her mother passes down stuff to her children

in the long reads essay talks about how the swordfish is becoming extinct but at the same time people still value and worship the creature and how they appreciate what it stands for in their culture .

200 word sawfish

In the article twilight of the saw fish it discussed  how sever the population of the saw fished was decreasing in west Africa . This animal is considers a national treasure in the urban society  of Africa it worshiped all over . Now the whole point of the article   was somewhat pointless to me . I mean i understand it is important that this rare animal is slowly dyeing out in the west African are becoming extinct. now with that being said in long reads writing his writing style breaches out to his emotional side and how he can  relate the topic to real emotions and how he truly feels about what is going on the saw fish in Africa . now with that being said his research on how each type of sawsfish is rare and extinct in its own wahy, when member of the village discover remains of the sawsfish they begin to decorate and show triubute , and respect to this animal. but after all that information i find the article to be point less and not really benifital to my situation.

MY bigest questions

when i think about what the hardest question that  have not been answers the list goes on forever. one question i have is what is the point in life. and when i ask that im not saying from a after life perspective , i mean more like what determines success , like if im not the richest person in the world does that mean i failed at having a good life . in my eyes all men are created equal so has the balls to determined to tell me that im not doing well in life just because im not making 16 billion dollars. my second question is that how do i determined the true definition of  happiness , what is the true meaning to be happy because to be honest i don't remember what genuinely  feeling is like . now i feel good from having a lot of money , or having a new girlfriend or something. but in all honesty these are all proclaimed feelings ported   by today's society and what resembles what " happiness is all about". These are the questions that i really would like to have answered here in the near future. so this is what im trying to find the answers to and hopefully being able to answer them.

Lobster paper.

In Wallace's article  his initial claims were explaining how lobsters were Wrigley's food for the poor and how it was a lower-class delicacy and cuisine. But over ages of time he became a more refound dish and only served at the most wealthiest events or the upper-class households of the modern age in today society.  Later as the paper progresses what discusses about the immortality for the lodges and how they are abusively cooked in caption. Granted there are large quantities of the losses in the main Pacific area but that does not mean they are allowed to keep them in inhumane conditions and be so cruel to the lobsters. It was supposed to be  considered a delicacy why not cooking with class instead of boiling in the pot in the middle of the street I have a modern bombs used to do it. For a animal civil rights activist this would seem cruel to them not only just because they are vegetarians but the way that the animals captured boiled alive and then cooked to feed the rich.  It's funny how over the course of time things change progress into something you would never thought of it becoming. Once a poor families boring meal now because a wealthy households prime dissed for entertainment and their activities.  But remain in the early 1800s it was the food for the poor but now in the late to thousands food for everyone thing how is their  States delicacy and how everyone should be able to take apart and is fantastic meal.

reflection paragraphs

by far this was one of the more difficult papers i have written in the past couple of years. Not due to the content and being able to respond to the text. But more of writing in depth  and expanding on my points and views of the topic. So really the worse thing for me was taking my topic and finding new and creative ways to explain it. I struggled in this part of the essay because im use to just talking about the topic, and explaining it how it relates to me .Not fully expanding my thoughts and ideas in not just one phase of the paper but many more aspects.

One thing that i wish to improve on and grow as a writer this year is being able to become a strong and detailed writer. with that being said i want to be able to expand on my thoughts and make the reader really think about what im laying down on this canvas. i want all my sentences to mean something. rather than just taking up space and being put down on to paper just to help me with a word count. so im striving this year to make all my writings interesting and actuality have a purpose for being in my paper. So hopefully by the end of thsi semester i will have learned all the tools necessary to transform my writings in to pure gold.

sandwich paragrapghs

original sandwich
My mother's bacon and macaroni casserole is just incredible. I mean it's really  the only thing that can change my mood in an instant.  This dish means more than just being something that melts in your mouth with every bite your consume. It has like some magical power around it , it can  bring anyone together . like at my last family reunion it brought together my sister and her ex best friend together , only because they both wanted a plate of this urban delicacy so they were able to talk over their difference over my mom's casserole . now that's a powerful thing right there. If a simple dish like this can bring two people together that had their differences in the past . means that this dish is that important to me.

re made sandwich

My song Carolina

. Describe the song to someone who has not heard it before.
The song Carolina is just has a nice ruthenium to it . It's something you can dance to or turn up with your friends, or even sing to your girl friend.  It has a catchy hook to it that appeals to all walks of life . And also it's a good club song .

2. Describe your relationship to the song. When and how do you listen to it? What does it do for you?
My Realtionship to this song is that when I feel in a good mood or fell like turning up with my bros it's our go to song.  This song helps me with my MOJO with the girl as well, like when I try to put some game on them it helps with my mojo.

3. Tell a story related to the song.
The most recent story I have with this song was when bouvier and I went to the club and they played it me and him looked for each other and started dancing with these two beautiful girls. This was a remarkable night for us , this song is a universal song like all young people of this generation know the words to this song.

4. What feelings and ideas does this song evoke in you?
The feelings I require from this song make me become more alive and willing to damce or sing with anyone.  It turns me into a party animal and the life of any social event I am at. Plus it's a great song to listen when I'm stuck on traffic, it helps the time pass by.

5. Why does this song matter TO THE LARGER WORLD?

It's important to the world  because it's quality music, and every body needs to be able to have something in their life to put a smile on there face . This song is setting newer and better hights  for the hip hop Era of our decade. I feel like this song will be still played for many years to come.

brain storm on my favirote title

one food that is most important to me is my mothers macaroni bacon and cheese casserole. Its so creamy when it touches your tongue its like mini fire cracker going off in your mouth. the savory apple wood bacon gives it that crunchy but bold flavor that every dish needs to be something that you will always remember . then the warm cheese and the soft pasta just makes the perfect blend with the crunchy bacon on each peace ggof pasta .

my relationship with this dish is that it reminds me of home. only my mom makes it and when she does i swear i feel like it my birthday , the excitement that is created with inside me UN imaginable . this is my comfort food when something is bothering me or i need a good meal so  my mom prepares this dish for me . she has been making this since as long as i could  remember but really this food symbolizes me and my mothers relationship. the dish has all the s and  quality needs that i can get from my mother.

my favorite memory of this dish was last year at thanksgiving when my mom made the biggest bowl of cassorle , i mean this bitch was like 4 pans worth she used 7 boxes of mac and cheese and 3 packs of bacon it was ridicules . i already knew by the end of the night im going to be a type 3 diabetic but i did not care. it was so amazing i mean it was just Delicious
this dis h give me nothing but absolute joy and and a warm tingle ling sensations . i mean its in a straight adrenaline  rush ir makes me so hype then at the same time calm and relaxed is so good .
this dish is important to the world because some good ole classic soul food is good for you. it keeps ya taste buds guessing and its a better dish for some one that always eats the same thing day and night that can get boring. plus my moma made this dish so it better be important or we gonna have a problem she be slaving in the kitchen to whip this bad boy up. so the whole world needs to appreciate this dish,

why the best kids books are written in blood

the best books are written when there is true side of the story behind it . Sherman Alexie uses her previous life experience's to create this interesting  novel . some people view her as a brave soul for releasing her feelings on this paper . Then others view it has a monstrosity of a novel for letting children read this raunchy type of material . And not being fully able to  understand the magnitude of how corrupt  this is for young people. Yes its Motivational because she over came many obstacles and still was able to chase after her goals. But she could of worded her story differently, but besides that the message was really inspiring , especially or young women every where. Alexie restores hope in every young women out there that has been in her situation , and wondering about if there going to be able to get a decent education and be able to take care of there children.  But she states that growing up back then for her was a lot different than someone growing up now in our decade. Back then the U.S was still having racial turmoil and discrimination , If she was Caucasian her ridicule wouldn't have been that bad but since she was a minority she was faced with more judgment and hatred directed at her for being abused, like it was her fault those horrible things that took place to her.  But she is a very brave and inspiring woman because she was able to overcome all these obstacle's and be able to make something with her life.

how to mark a book

                                                            How to mark A book

with this article I agree and disagree with J. Adler's claims. He states that people should read and write "between the lines" . To be completely honest I don't know what that means. I never thought about breaking my writing down and analyzing it to where I can condense thoughts and how determine information in a book weather if its important or not. He states that all writing is a piece of art , and who's place is it to defile someone's work with what they think, that belongs in their work. People don't go out and mark over sculptor and say that this piece should be added or taken out. Then why should people do that to writing material? Both of these self masterpiece's are consider art, so why should they be treated differently. No matter what the price is of art it should be treated with respect. Because someone dedicated countless hours and effort into there piece so before you just mark up that cheap book you purchased , Have some respect for the author that took the time out to write that book. So I can relate to where every price of writing is important and it shouldn't be just marked all over for your behalf. If you feel like you have a better opinion or you can cover the information on the subject , Make your own notes or even write your own book , But just don't ruin someone else's work that's disrespectful to the writer and everything they work hard for. But if you do decide you are going to mark through a book there are certain tools you can use to not violate the book. My personal favorite is underlining , just underline major points or important forceful statements. Or number  the  margins to indicate the sequence of points the author makes in developing a single argument. These tools I use when I need important information out of a article now with this being said this is the conclusion of my paper. I just want to reiterate that I do share some of the same ideas as Alder.
